Paul encouraged the Philippian believers to follow him in their Christian walk and warned them against following false teachers who would lead them astray from the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is imperative that we as N.T. Christians  follow the right example for it determines our destination. The path less traveled leads to life everlasting, while a faith in falsehoods will lead to destruction.
